just watched it, I recommend starting a corruption expertmode world as well, you get a REALLY useful item from the eater of worlds fight, which is useful even in hardmode, which you cant say about quite a few pre-hardmode items. I wish you good luck on your travels.. I also hope you fail.

I wouldnt call it cheating... more of going through more grinding to get a single item that isnt going to help much when you get to the moon lord.
