i used to have these recurring dreams when i was young that i had to die and my family would take me to this little pod where i'd sit in and my "life" would be sucked out of me. i remember vaguely it feels like when you exercise past your limit and feel light headed and drained, that's always how ive always imagined it felt
I mean if you were asking what it would feel like to be dead, I would say, "Well, since you're dead, you can't feel." But what you're asking instead is "What does dying feel like?". I'll just say to this that it could feel slow and painful, or fast and not painful. It depends on the way you die. If, say you were drowning, it would be a slow and painful death, and if you were shot, it would depend on the place you were shot. For example, if your heart was shot, you'd die quite fast, with not much pain, but if you were to be shot in an arm or a leg, you might die, and if you were to die, then it would be a slow and painful death.
