I believe Bedrock does get a bit less attention, but in the end, it's really up to the community and staff team of their respective side to give it attention. I.e. Java players love using the forums which give it a lot of attention. Bedrock users are a bit quieter on the forums. (Plus, you have to have a Java Minecraft account to post on the forums which stop a lot of Bedrock users from using the forums.)
