+ if you look for them you can easily find hundreds of stories from various people about their experiences with the "masturbation interviews". That sub was a mormon sub and most of the people responding are active mormons.

It's minors talking to an old man about their masturbation habits. Obviously not all bishops go into detail, but some do, and some even pride themselves for really going into detail. Plus parents weren't even allowed in the room until very recently. Fucking disgusting.

I've been surrounded by the mormon church my whole life, I've learned a lot about the religion, and I have nothing positive to say about it. It's isolated me from my friends due to all of the church activities all my friends would participate in (and there are a lot of them in the mormon church for those that don't know), they dominate the politics in Utah, and I've seen the hatred towards the LGBTQ+ community first hand in my family. Fuck the mormon church and you can't change my opinion on how shitty of a religion it is. I know all about your history, we were forced to learn it in history class (again, the joys of growing up in Utah).

I'm sorry? I'm lazy? I've spent no joke hundreds of hours delving into Mormon history, Mormon genetics, the Church, and all things Mormon. I've been on all of this since I was 11 years old, and now I am 22. That is over a decade. Are you telling me your two articles, and "hundreds stories from active Church Members" invalidates what I'm saying, despite the fact what these articles are refuting a point I never made? If you were a fully functional human being, capable of literacy, you would be able to clearly realize I'm not saying Interviews don't exist, they do. I was never asked these questions, and, as I said, you don't have to answer. You seem to be under the impression your Bishop pries you for an hour or two about sexual things and nothing else. No, it is an in detail interview about whether or not you are holding up the standards of the Church, masturbation just happens to be part of that duty. Many Bishops choose not to ask you sexual questions, and there are some that do, it's an issue with the Bishop, not the Church. You are either strawmanning so hard, are just genuinely stupid you sad, sad gentile.

If you're an exmormon, I see why you're so keen on denying the facts regarding Mormon beinga race, and as a cultural identifier apart and separate from the Church, because then you would have to admit that in that capacity you will always, and forever be Mormon. If this is so, I wish you a good journey, and I hope you arrive to be enlightened on the true nature of our people, and I hope that in the days to come, you can be welcomed back to the fold, not as a Latter Day Saint, but rather, as a Mormon.

If you're a gentile/foreigner, I don't care what you have to say, or what you think you know, and whether or not you care what I say. You're a foreigner living in our land, it's like going to Denmark and being angry that they're not American-style conservatives. If you want a historical perspective on Mormon being viewed as a race (for retarded reasons, and at a retarded time), I suggest you read Religion of a Different Color; Race and the Mormon Struggle for Whiteness. The idea Mormon polygamy alone instantly created a new race is quite stupid, now that we have a modern understanding of such things... however the genetic oddities polygamy causes, along with the extreme genetic isolation (despite gene-flow) of the Mormon people in a completely foreign environment has produced a new race, the Mormon race. Time after time, it has been proven that Mormons cluster together on a genetic basis, which is how modern races are defined. (One recent study done states that genetically we cluster closer with Latin populations, than our Germanic ancestors.) This is combined with some identifiable physical features found in the Mormon people, in the same vain some features are Germanic, and others Latin. In the end, you can genetically identify the Mormon, and if you look hard enough (and know what to look for) you might be able to identify Mormon from gentile through a look. Mormon is a race. To claim otherwise is to deny the very concept of a race.
