Lemme say it like this:
Islands should not be squary, try making them rounder.
Make the islands thicker as if TNT blows it up, there should be possibilites to still go there, and not immediately die due to the island being thin.
Notch trees = Just no, make custom trees using brushes / by hand. It shows skill and dedication.
Cover = People need stuff to hide behind, all the other maps got it, so this one should also. You can't have an open map where you die instantly since you have nowhere to hide behind.

Yes, streets are square, but the entire island shouldn't really be a street itself. Seems quite bland

Well no, make the island circle-ish and then put a road into it or something.
