but you should be able to criticise the government peacefully (or in this case, a server)

and mineplex takes our freedom of speech away from us, based on your definition
It's not always what you say, it's how it's said. Oftentimes, when we archive threads, it's because the content of those threads violates the rules we have in place, in one way or another (ie, spreading rumors about anyone in the community--not just staff--or protesting to get someone banned or (in the case of staff) demoted. This might be appropriate behavior for a government, but it's bad business for a business to allow this. There are ways for you to voice your opinions; and if you have an issue with any staff or want to report them, then you're asked to take this to Support, so that LT can look at your request and any evidence you have. This is more mature and professional than creating a thread calling someone out if you feel as though they have done something "corrupt". To compare a government with Mineplex isn't accurate. When you joined this site, you agreed to abide by the rules which were put in place (as well as any future rules which had yet to be made). More often that not, to join any online community, you need to waive certain rights and abilities which you otherwise might have had. Checking off that little box is you stating that you've read through what this entails, and that you're in agreement with it. You should also note that when talking about your "rights" on the internet, your physical location matters quite a bit. Not everyone is from the same country, or is bound by the same laws and rules which you might be. Something which is illegal in one country might be totally fine in the next, and this is something to keep in consideration. For example, not everyone here is bound by the US Constitution, because not everyone here is from the US. This might sound basic, but I had to explain this on a thread where the OP made the mistake that we all were. We're also not necessarily bound by the rules or outlines of any belief system or religion; we've had people say that various things should/shouldn't be allowed, because it's supported/found in their Bible/Torah/holy texts. This isn't the case.
bye
TL;DR
Mineplex has freedom of speech, but it is limited
According to the definition, freedom of speech only applies to not allowing the government to censor your opinions. Mineplex is not the government, therefore this does not apply. Mineplex is a business. If you walked into McDonalds and started screaming that they're money hungry and their food sucks, would you call them corrupt because they removed you from their restaurant? No, because you have to follow that business' guidelines when you are using their services. Using their services is not a right, and you can't use freedom of speech as an excuse to break a business' guidelines and still be allowed to do so.
Also, it's very rare that any criticism is peaceful. Rioting and such is not peaceful.
constructive criticism and rallies that don't end with police fights are peaceful
It's a game, so police fights aren't part of the discussion. The criticism that is offered here on these forums is hardly ever constructive.
Agreed
