I like the idea of a way to get shards, but I still really want to see a better anticheat ... like I understand it's a lot of work but I bet if they actually worked on it they could probably get it out sometime soon... all they're working on now is new things and bringing out new things while there are still things on the server that need fixed
Gunna rant here (not at you, just in general), but the ignorance of the community about the anti cheat realllly annoys me. First, I would like to explain to anyone that wasn't around when Mac first came out, that it was originally a lot stricter on movement than it is now. However, the rubber banding of players was INSANE, much much worse than having a few fly hackers here and there.
Next, the surplus of hackers is not entirely the fault of the anti-cheat. No matter what anti cheat you have, even the best one in all of minecraft, people will STILL bypass it eventually. The problem of hackers on Mineplex is rooted in the backed up reports section, not the anti-cheat. If all reports were answered in 1-2 hours, then there would be much much much much much fewer hackers on Mineplex.
Currently, if a hacker is somewhat intelligent, they can stay unbanned and continue hacking for over a month after a report is made on them, since it takes that long to be processed. Over that time they ruin the experience of quite literally thousands of Mineplex players. Having them banned within a few hours or even within a day would make a WORLD of a difference.
Yeah I know they are going down, and it's getting closer to the point where there will be a noticeable difference in game about the number of hackers. I wasn't trying to blame the people who do reports for the problems of Mineplex, but instead point out that the anti cheat isn't the only problem
