My school is supporting this. Some people wear badges and don’t need to talk in class to support the years the LGBTQ+ Community was forced to be silent. It’s pretty cool (not that they are oppressed, just the way it’s shown).
We're organizing a Day of Silence to show support for students in schools nationwide who still face discrimination and hatred for their identities as LGBTQ+ and thus must stay silent to avoid harassment, bullying and general discrimination.
They simply don't face bullying anymore, what they do face is critique from the political right which THEY consider discrimination and hatred which in my opinion is completely justified, but hey you're doing something you're passionate about so I applaud.
Of course you can make a day of silence or bullying for everybody, not just LGBTQ+ members. If you firmly believe in something and want to do something like that, stand up for what you believe in and don't complain in front of a computer screen.
