it isn't too bad until you've been there a while. then you realise that even if you work hard, the only way you can ever climb the staffing ladder is to be good friends with a lot of higher ups. there was a moment when I could have been accepted into the events team when that was a thing, but apparently I hadn't been to enough events looool even though I had been going to almost every one of the EU events. it's a fun past time if you want to distract yourself I guess, but there are many flaws that just haven't changed over the years
Oh yeah, I can tell you need to be friends with higher ups to be 'noticed' since the Events are exactly like that, there's a huge ranking system, like if you're close with friends of staff or just staff you'll be helped more, shouted out more. I really hate that system even though I'm pretty high, it's just some of my other friends never get noticed and I try my best to shout them out in chat by calling them bad, (as a joke pls) p-P
Stef I know it looks bad, but it's true, you gotta admit it. I'm still obv friends with you because you're a nice person, not to be popular or to be 'noticed' but the events have a serious ranking problems. :/
