Chapter two: Becoming one with a dragon
Marine and I searched the house for anything that could have been a clue to who poisoned Evlen. Marine used a Special magic called seeker and a paper flew out of a book that it was hidden in. Marine read it and a mark of a dark whisp was at the bottom... " That is a guild mark , there are rouge guilds then ad guilds then there's the good guilds that help wizards and people all over the good guilds abide by the rules of the high magic counsel , where as the rouge guilds don't listen and create many problems for people... ruin people's lives and kill... this guild is a rouge guild and it's name is nighthawks... they are a very strong guild Many guilds and people have fallen because of them... if I teach you intense training for the next 6 months you would be strong enough to take them on and end their Rain of Darkness over the land , the people will be very great for to you " Marine said." Let's start training " I said. Marine smiled " Okay let's start with something simple , magic isn't very complicated but there are things you need to have in order to be successful , all around us are these tiny microscopic beings called nanos or napherions , nanos are needed in the body of magic users In order to use magic, by meditation You can build up a full amount of Nanos and you must meditate every day 4 times to build up Storage so you can use your magic longer and more efficiently. This meditation requires intense focus and patience , enough of my talking go ahead try it!" Marine said.
I sat down cross legged in the sand and took three nice big breaths of air and let the world of sounds be drowned out and I closed my eyes as well. I felt a very warm nice feeling in the pit of my chest and felt it spread through out my body , " very well done Serinity" Marine said. But I kept going Until she said enough and she told me to stand up. " I am going to give you the gift of water dragonslayer magic now, it is going to be a bit painful but you will adjust after a few minutes. Then I will show you how to use this for good. " Marine said. " Before I do this though you must gather your items that you wish to keep with you through the rest of your days, I nodded and went inside Grabbing the document that Marine found I folded it up nicely and grabbed a weeks worth of clothes my brush my family picture and my art sketches and sketch book I grabbed my boots and slipped them on along with a heavy jacket and I went into my moms room and found a pouch of jewel our currency or money . I zipped my backpack up and made sandwiches with what we had left in the fridge I grabbed my water bottle and filled it up with clean water I grabbed pencils and my two favorite books written by my favorite author Lucy heartfilla. Lastly I grabbed my stuffed narwhal my father and mother bought me for my fourth birthday. I put on a coat and put everything inside my bookbag and Shut everything off inside the house and locked the door with the key and put it in my bag as well . I set my back pack down on the sand considering how Marine said it was going to be painful. Then I walked over infront of her." Ready?" She asked " yes " I said. She did a mighty Dragon roar , diffently would attract people I see why she told me to gather my things. A aquatic blue orb came out of Marines chest and she said " focus". I did as told and the orb went into my chest. My body burned harshly like I'd been scalded and I sank to my knees as I began adapting... I could hear things from great distances a pack of wolfs playing in the forest not far I could smell things much stronger now... the salty smell of the ocean . I could see farther too. " Woa this is amazing "I said. " This is only the beginning child... but we must Get out of here , I'm sure my roar has created some kind of attraction" Marine said . I grabbed my pack and Climbed up on to her tail and up quickly to her neck. "I'm ready " I said. She began running into the ocean and the water didn't deep in around me I was in a air bubble completely dry. And Marines face had a air bunk around it too. Her wings were webbed so the were like gaint fins we gilded through the sea with ease I watched as schools of fish darted away from us . It was beautiful.."Marine , do you prefer it down her more than the sky or do you see them as equal"? I asked " the ocean is very enormous and has a huge variety of animals down here of all shapes sizes and colors , the sky has many birds and I can survey the land from up high. But the thing this I'm more likely to be seen by humans if I'm flying , so it's safer to swim" Marine said.
