Decided to resign from Forum Ninja today. My activity on the team was hurting due to IRL conflicts. I didn't want to negatively effect the team so I resigned.

This was the main reason, however, there were a few other factors that led to my resignation such as decreased interest in the forums, wanting to spend more time in-game tryharding xp and whatnot, hate I was receiving for enforcing rules (all staff receive this, yet it's much worse for forum staff), and another reason which will remain private.

I'll definitely still be in-game and make Enjin wall posts I really just didn't have the time for behind-the-scene forum work.

If they open GI in the future I'll probably apply. Don't think it'll be for CS though
Yeah sadly D: I created a thread awhile back to show why we need a GI for CS.

This is probably the best update I've seen in awhile...

~MS hopping was fixed
~BL afking was fixed
~Trapdoors can't be toggled in DE
~Spider now has an xp bar recharge for their double jump

Shards are actually possible to get now, expectionally for the tryhard like me. Potentially getting triple xp in the gem fountain game on the weekend will be amazing as well.

10/10 from what I've seen so far.

If you don't know by now, enchanting your armor in SG and Skywars makes you take more damage so don't do it.

With the new map update and hopefully more in the future, I'd thought it would be interesting to make a graph of how many maps there are per game. :^)

Based off these numbers as well as the popularity of games, I really think we need to add more:
Castle Siege, Block Hunt, Gladiators, Wizards, Skywars, and Minestrike maps.

I'd also like to see the following maps removed (personal opinion) because I find them to be either ugly or horrible for gameplay:
Amazon - SSM, Shroom Skies - Skywars, Shroom Lands - Bridges, Land of Time - Micro Battles, Villa & Hidden Courtyard - Turf Wars.

YouLostYourLife, the only lv 100 who cares anything about castle siege, also commented that castle siege really needs like 10 maps to be more fun.

I agree; it can get rather boring playing the same two maps over and over.

There's only so many assassin routes we can uncover, only so many fence tricks we can employ, and only so many ways to play in general.

As I stated though, this is more of a problem with the build team rejecting the castle siege community's maps than of the build team not making them themselves.

Aaaanyways, on a more unrelated note, I pmed Relyh awhile ago about game insights for CS. I'm not sure what has to happen for a game insights to happen, but do you think you'd be interested if they did create one for CS pablo?

:/ that sucks. You were on of the only staff who cared about CS and IMO probably the best candidate if we ever get a CS game insights.

What's your opinion on our community maps dilemma?
Until you get 80+ people testing a CS map, you can't really tell if it's balanced or not
While this is true, I do not believe that the majority of testers have enough skill or experience will castle siege to test it properly.

You are the only staff I know who has a considerable amount of wins in CS.

On the other hand, the CS community, none of which is staff, has excess of 2000 wins in many of our cases, excess of 1000 wins for our newer members, and even excess of 3000 wins by CosmoLink and 2000SuperSilver
I downloaded multiple maps that the community made, and I thought that they had rather good gameplay. Daniel 's map seemed the best out of all of them, but it didn't even make it to stage 2, because it "lacked detail."

The build team puts too high a priority on aesthetics, and that results in many issues, such as the spawn in MCL being able to be burned down because it was decided to make it out of spruce wood instead of bedrock, which is what I would have made it out of.

A friend of mine did a brilliant comparison, comparing a crusader castle to a minecraft castle.

Also if anyone was wondering, the following maps were removed:
Champions - Twin Peaks
Micro Battles - Towers 9998

The following maps were fixed as well:
Champions Domination - Industrial Grove - Fixed the lava at mineshaft and a random deep hole
SSM - Mining Camp - Spawnpoint being on fire
HG - Aztec Island - Lava was flowing from a skull
SA - Sandy Castle - People were able to get out to parkour on top of a gate
SA - China Town - Prevented from people being able to get up on a roof
SKY - Temple - Placed some cobwebs in mid
SQ - Subnautic - Credit was not correct
DT - Pirate Harbor - Prevented many map exploits
SSM - Apache - Water causing horrible gameplay. Doubletall grass
