Hey guys! So I have decided that I am going to try and express myself a little bit more on my wall and discuss common ideas and how I feel about them. I think it could be a good way to have more discussions and such. This post is going to pertain to an idea I have been seeing more and more lately and it is having a way to be notified if somebody is muted.
I honestly have mixed feeling on this idea as I can see a lot of pros but some cons as well. First off, I can definitely see the points that the players who want to know their friends are muted have. I definitely would like to at least know someone is muted if I'm trying to contact them so I know why they aren't responding. That is a perfectly logical and fair point in my eyes.
I have been seeing some complaints regarding not being able to name pets as a form of communication. This brings me on to my next point, if you care so much about communicating with your friends, I think the fairly easy solution would be to not break our chat rules. I understand why a muted player would want their friends to know they aren't responding and to me that's a completely different point.
The issue I can see with a system like this players harassing the ones that are muted. While the punished players may not care, I still don't think it's something we should be trying to promote. I think if a system like this were to be implemented, it should only work if you are trying to contact someone on your friends list. But again, a system like this wouldn't need to be implemented if people simply didn't break the rules. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm really happy that my cat is using the little stool I got for her in my room so that she can get up on my bed on her own. The only issue now is she steps all over me which wakes me up and completely defeats the purpose of getting that thing. xD Before she would just meow and wake me up so that I could bring her up onto the bed. Oh well, at least I know she can get up there when nobody is home. :3
I'm a little torn here because if I advertise this, I can decrease my chances of winning but if I don't, there may be less winners if the post doesn't increase by 300 likes. Anyways, my bad I mean RP mentor,Wanderer, is hosting an art giveaway and if you haven't seen his art yet, it's freaking amazing so you'll probably want it as much as I do. xD
I am also excited that I am going to be visiting my friend in Israel in January, I just need to book my flight now.
Happy Birthday 150th Canada!! Thank you for providing me with such a wonderful place to grow up in! No matter where life takes me, Canada will always be home to me! As for celebrating today, I did get to do some, there has been a lot of rain and as a result, my shift at work got cancelled so I got to celebrate a little bit more than I was originally expecting to. I am going to be leaving home again soon to go watch the fireworks. I also almost got to meet Geothermal today too, we think we may have seen each other as we had given each other mini descriptions and we were going to be in the same park but it was just way too busy and chaotic to know for sure. I knew he was going to be near where I was though. This was probably the closest I had ever been to somebody I know who is deeply involved in the Mineplex community (other than Cabob) and it's cool that the person happened to be one of the mentors I assist. :3
This is true ^^ I only found out it was not normal when I spoke with friends from Mineplex for the first time over Skype. xD
Am I like the only one who is extremely sick and tired of hearing "Shape Of You" on the radio? I hate how they severely overplay new songs to the point where we are absolutely sick of hearing them after a month. xD
On a different and more positive note, I can make it to TAP this week. I took over someone's shift at work last Wednesday night and as a result, I got today off which is really nice. It wasn't exactly a nice day either, we've had a thunderstorm every day for the last 6 days which is strange and it's not looking any different for tomorrow. Mind you, it wouldn't be Canada Day if they weren't calling for awful weather. xD Anyways, I hope you all have a lovely evening!
Tonight I was driving my mom's car since I was bringing her and a few of her colleagues to a retirement party and once I dropped them off, I was alone and I was listening to my Journey CD. Then I thought to myself, this is probably the first time my mom's car has ever driven the speed limit. xD
Oh yeah, my mom is always going like 35 km/h over the limit without getting caught and my dad ends up with the dumb fines for driving on said bridge because he has a ladder on his truck. xD

You are actually one of the nicest people I have ever met to be honest, the amount of dedication you put into Mineplex and your TMA work is incredible. I honestly really hope you get promoted, as you such a hard worker and a great human being in general. Keep doing what you are doing.
Tmw it's your mom's birthday and you forget to get her a gift. D: Anyways, I hope that everyone is having a good day! I'm excited for my time off from work. I also have family flying in to town so I'm excited to see them. Enjoy your evening!
