Given very recent trends on mineplex I consider it a real possibility that the server will shut down soon. I hope that doesn't happen, although even now I often can't play the two games that I enjoy due to server lag and people abandoning UHC due to emerald glitch abuse. Hopefully mineplex gets a do-over (or a 'cleanse') as there are a lot of great things about it, but they really need to work out the performance issues and glitches to make the server playable again. Until that happens people won't come back to stay. Sorry for the downer, maybe they (or something better (not hypixel)) will rise from the ashes.
