RDL #14:

The other day a neighborhood friend came over and we were social distance talking.
Them: "How's it been going?"
Me: "Boring mostly. Been riding my bike a lot."
Them: "Oh, what time?"
Me: "Early mornings and dusk."
Them: "Oh cool! Have you seen him?"
Me: "Who?"
Them: "You know, that weird ninja person. He rides around on a bike sometimes. My brother says he saw him and his eyes were red! My parents are kind of freaked out about him."

I feel like there is no good way to respond to this?

This was just too cool not to share.

It's been a while, and I have a new story!

True stories from rur's life. Ep #13:

Where to begin? My parents don't want me logged onto the computer certain times of day, but that means I can't listen to amazing dubstep songs. Buying them all on itunes comes out to about $75. Unacceptable. I am going to listen to my wubs for free whenever the heck I want to.
I set up a browser extension that plays music even when the computer is locked. Parents are fine with this as I'm not actually logged in. Only problem, I have to log back in to change the volume, choose a different song, or replay the song. Basically I can listen to one song then it stops.
Well I was having none of that. As it turns out, my keyboard has a bunch of special keys that not every model gets. Specifically the track changers. If I lock the computer while it's in a music playlist, I can use those keys to cycle through tracks and keep the music going. Also found a series of bugs/hacks that allow me to circumvent the thing that automatically shots off me songs after a few minutes. Parents are fine with this for some reason?
My crowning achievement however, was creating a program that runs in the background and plays music every time the computer boots up. I have a way of booting it up without actually logging in. Parents were a little surprised when the machine suddenly started blasting press start across the room when I remotely activated it.
Turns out I can make this thing play music whenever I want now, even when it's locked. There was even a day of extreme boredom when I had it rickroll my mom every half hour.

My brother is writing a fan-fic based off of a fan-fic.



So imagine a book, written by a 10yo, based off of a tv show. Then another 10yo writes a fan fic about that book. That's about the writing quality we're seeing here.

Some days you wake up and you just want to Cody.

I don't want to work, I don't want to play.

I've posted this before but it's still amazing.

Someone finally did it. I'm legit so proud of this total stranger on the internet.

For some context, PJS is NOT a good language for 3D video games. What you are witnessing is thousands of hours spent finding ways to bypass the restrictions set by the language and the environment.
This program literally leaves me speechless. I cannot imagine the amount of time, work, and energy it must have cost to make this.

I can safely say that this is the khan academy program with the most work in it. You are legally required to vote it up if you have an account.
