Beware of artists that promise vector logos but are really just converting their PSD into a vector (EPS / AI) with illustrator's 'image trace' (poor quality). Clarify before you pay (especially if you want to print the logo for jerseys etc.).
Ensure they're not just marketing it as a vector as well. If they send you an email saying "we'll send the vector," ensure it's not a trace over, like Atslayer says.
I'm only free of this bullshit because of the support of Atslayer and other artists I work with but, other leaders may not have such a giant support network of good people.
There is no way you could possibly know it's wrong unless you had a graphics background (not to be confused with 'GFX') or someone telling you it is wrong... It is all a beginner's trap!
Also, Atslayer's help cannot be stated enough. He goes out of his way to help clients, especially when other freelancers burn them. He has built us a great website, I cannot wait until it launches - and I cannot express enough gratitude for the value chain he and his services provide.
What does everyone think of my logo on atslayer.enjin.com RIGHT NOW? Text and a photoshop effect, but surely it's better than the one I had before? (atslayer.com version)
Enjin-Discord notifier online testing on a real community, here it picked up 3 new applications in a 10 minute period. These messages get posted to a specific #applications channel.
Instead of the bot that works based on commands, this bot only sends updates to specified channels when new data exists (not user request based). In this case the news post was new hence it got posted.
- The first check will save a .json file to my server
- The next check will compare that saved json file to the new request
- if new data exists, send message to channel.
- we check on an interval
Such can be done with any data set (i.e new applicants). The cool thing about these webhooks is that they can be branded to your channel(name / avatar are customizable) as opposed to HAL 9000 which would not be.
Enjin Discord bot faq: The only way to manage users / sync users with the bot would be to have an enjin login off enjin (check if session id returned) -> discord oauth login -> returned token -> store enjin/discord cross reference in db to prove identity with all bot commands.
After that it is easy peasy, and accurate, to sync Enjin tags with Discord roles.
So yes, it can be done but with this needed compromise since anyone can impersonate a user’s discord account on Enjin.
According to the OP his shop images did not animate, I am guessing that the GIF animation is disabled after they are uploaded (I think the profile avatars work the same way).
