As my MoT slowly approaches, I'm looking more closely toward where I've went wrong these past few weeks and how I can improve on my mistakes. Overall, my top priority has always been self-improvement, and of course while no one is perfect I do hope to serve the very best of my abilities. Looking forward to see how well I will be doing!

Anyway, huge congratulations to the new mods and future mods today! Look really forward to working with you all, and from what I can tell you both have been doing a fantastic job in Lobby 1!

Hiya people! Haven't posted in a while, so I thought I'd mention my experience on the staff team for the past 2 weeks.

In comparison to other staff teams I've worked with in the past, there's something very interesting about Mineplex's in specific - and it's the incredible, fast communication system. It's shockingly easy to communicate with any staff member simply by messaging them, and the overall friendliness of the team is really great. I've taken the time to speak to many staff on a very personal level, and in return I have received solid advice, both in-game and IRL related. It's also really nice to be able to communicate with staff members privately within lobbies as well, as it makes moderating feel much less pressuring.

Overall, I've greatly enjoyed this experience, and once again look forward to continuing it.

Inactivity Notice - Upcoming SAT

Hey guys, so as I do have a huge exam coming up within the next few days, I'm afraid you will not be seeing me on Mineplex as often as usual. After Saturday, which will be the day of the test, I'll be happy to say I'll be online as often as previously.

I'll still be in-game from time to time though. Feel free to give me a quick hello if you are to see me in-game!

My thoughts on TS leaving the Mineplex Community:

As I've made many memories on teamspeak for the past 3 years and have met many different people, it's going to be unfortunate to see us part ways. However, I am excited to see Discord improve our communication efforts, as it already has been doing so for the past few weeks. As more and more gaming communities make their way to abandoning Skype/TS for discord instead, I believe it would make the most sense for Mineplex to join in on the trend as well.

I am looking forward to using discord as Mineplex's primary form as communication - and will continue to look forward to meeting many different people.

My experience so far?

I've had a really nice time and look forward to continuing it with the rest of the staff team. Punishing people can feel pressuring at times, but I've been seeming to get the hang of it.

WOO you're almost 1 week as trainee!

Finally received my rank in-game and had a fantastic first day as trainee.

Really awesome experience - Built some stuff on the lilypad, punished my first hackers, submitted multitudes of SRs..and gained a whole lot of new friend requests.

Speaking of which, do feel free to /f me in-game to chat or give a quick hello! I'll be in Lobby 1 often as well.

To those asking me where my in-game trainee rank went:

After speaking with my mentor, I have discovered that the admin who usually gives the rank (Dean) will be away for a week or so. Because of this, there will be some delay in receiving it. Not sure how long, could possibly be a day or two, but until then, you may find me "minimodding" at Lobby 1 or spending my time playing cake wars/mixed arcade.
