I requested time off for Pyramid's visit, and my time off request ended on Friday (today). Well, my boss gave me the weekend off too! Saturday-Sunday. I still get my normal five day week next week, but I don't have to go back tomorrow as I originally thought I would ^_^

I'm nearly finished with pre-writing major plot points and developments, so now I'm getting to a point where I can make some progress on playable portions of the game
Once upon a time, four years ago, I let myself get lost in a digital world. I nearly destroyed my life. It's hard to see the boundaries and to differentiate from a digital life and a real one sometimes, but never give up hope. It's okay to put it down for a day. It's okay to go out on the town with some friends. It feels easier to live life through a screen sometimes, but in the end... is it worth it? I ran across this video tonight and it has a very powerful statement.
