Thanks for all the kind comments guys. I'm feeling reasonably better (actually wired) now that I'm on some prescription medication to deal with the nerve pain.
So this morning I went to the emergency room. At around 1am last night an intense pain in my right cheek came out of nowhere. Throughout the course of the night I tried ibuprofen and nasal decongestant and excedrin, but nothing worked to even so much as dull the pain. Even hot and cold compresses did virtually nothing. Six thirty rolled around and I was still in intense agony, so I went to the ER. They took a cat scan and it turns out I have a swollen nerve. So now I'm on a week of steroids to reduce the swelling and uber pain medication to combat the nerve pain and allow me to function. What fun... >_<
