Where Have I Been?
I just wanted to let you guys know that I've been away for the past few days and will be away for a few more. I didn't mention it yet since I thought I would be on frequently still, but I've been spending a lot of time out on vacation.
Come January 1, things will be changing for the better on all fronts.
Also, my 2016 Retrospect will be out in a couple days.
Would You Guys Be Interested in This?
So out of curiosity, for all you Mineplex players out there. Would you guys be interested in a Mineplex Club for Xbox? For those of you who don't know, it's similar to what Mineplex's Communities, except this would be for outside of Mineplex. This would be where players could get together outside of Mineplex specifically, and play on Xbox, Windows 10, or Pocket Editions. Maybe help each other get achievements or just share things.
It seems like it'd be a pretty neat thing for this community to have, to maybe bond and do other things than just PvP on Mineplex. What do you guys think, and would you be interested? Keep in mind, you wouldn't need to have an Xbox to join, since Windows (and Mac through the web browser, I believe) does have integration with Clubs.
Edit: I've already made it. It's called "Mineplex Nation" and has a picture of a villager. If you want to join and spread word about it, that'd be great! If you don't want to join, I'd be nice to know why.

Yaaay. I personally play more Hypixel than Mineplex now, because after all this drama I just don't feel like joining the network anymore. I just got MVP+ plus, great video btw!
I'm MVP+ too! It's a great network, but I think if you ignore the drama I still find myself more invested in Mineplex. But I think playing both gets the best experience.

Join My Mineplex Community: Casual!
Mineplex has officially released Communities! You can read more about it here.
More relevant, I've started my own Community called Casual! This Community will be all about just casually playing games with each other, hosting Community servers, maybe helping fellow members get achievements, and just generally having a good time.
If this sounds like something you'd want to be apart of, hop onto Mineplex and type /com join Casual. I will accept pretty much all requests. Any time zone is also cool, since I'm on frequently throughout the day, as will fellow members.
Keep in mind you can join as many Communities as you want. So if you like Casual and another Community, simply join both!

Anyway, apart from my immaturity, I'll probably join later on, not sure if I should buy eternal or that's just Mineplex hype pushing me to buy it
I would only buy Eternal if you really wanted to monetarily support Mineplex, or if you really want to start your own Community, or if you want better chests for monthly bonus... Basically I'm saying: Don't buy it unless you have a specific reason to do so.
Ya, mostly what pushes people to get the ranks is buying "the next big thing" and they way Mineplex puts the description of the rank makes anyone want to buy it right away. I might just only buy it for the chests, because right now the ranks before eternal are worth pretty much nothing, since no one gets anything in a mythical chest
Honestly, my speculation is that Communities will never be a feature for everyone to create. It may be brought to a lower rank or two, but never to all players. Hypixel technically has the same with Guilds, and that's where my guess is coming from. In my opinion, I really do not have too much of a problem with that.

So, I just bought Eternal.
Yeah, I did just buy that rank despite saying it wasn't worth it. And the reason is some threads over at Nasclub discussing Mineplex. They got me, and many other members over there to realize who the people behind Mineplex are and that they're supporting families. They might not make the very best decisions, but I think I've been a little bit too hard on Mineplex.
I still love the network and any downsides are overridden by the good Mineplex has done over the years. I'm proud to have been able to work on the network as a Mod, and I'm proud to play and support it. I'm proud to make videos featuring Mineplex and I'm proud to be part on the community.
This is only a short form of what I've been thinking. I thought long and hard about whether I wanted to do this, but I haven't donated to Mineplex in a while, and I think they deserve my support. Plus, the teal tag makes me remember all 5 months or so I had Trainee.

I agree the same too, I just believe Mineplex has a lot to work on to get back to where they were. Though you are correct, the downs are less than the positives. Just hope they can admit they make mistakes too.
They do seem to be getting better at admitting mistakes, and if the community speaks loud enough, they'll fix things. They're not perfect, but getting better.
Agreed, No one is perfect, but it just irks me to see companies that don't admit faults. An example is Walmart, who pays their worker's minimum wage. They have always tried to cover it up somehow or another. But yes I do agree, they are getting better at admitting, just need to try a bit harder.
