But seriously, I decided to analyse Day 8 of Catherine, to try and figure out a lot (A video I watched had me decide to do this, because there are things leading up to it). If you wish to follow along, watch from 1:56 to 6:27
Vincent walks to his door to let Katherine in, but as he unlocks it, Catherine appears right behind him. Now...the room was completely empty; Catherine was never in there, so I assume she teleported in (Due to her being a succubus, it is most likely that she did, and this is now an analysis).
Katherine demands Vincent to explain what is going on, only for him to stutter more and make her mad. Catherine then starts to torment Katherine (I fucking hate how there are two Catherine/Katherine), by stating that Vincent worked her body 'Night after night' (The evidence to support this is very vague; yes, she does appear in her birthday suit on top of Vincent, there is no evidence of sexual intercourse or sexual actions). Katherine starts to reach breaking point, and an argument then starts between the two woman, while Vincent is put into a world of frustration.
Katherine walks over to the sink, looking for a knife (Interesting thing here, if you payed attention. As Katherine gets up, both Catherine's arms are in front of her, and I only just noticed the tray was slightly lifted, but when Katherine looks back at Vincent, Catherine has this 'evil stare' and her right arm is now behind her back). When Katherine gives up, Catherine then asks her if she's 'looking for this', waving a kitchen knife in the air (Interesting note; the knife was nowhere to be seen during the cutscene, which brings me to question how the knife got under the tray.)
Vincent calls off the affair with Catherine, which is where she snaps, and lunges at Katherine. Vincent jumps in front, and gets cut on his right side. As Katherine tries to get away, Catherine grabs her hair, and she stumbles off the table (I thought it was blood, but I then realised it was coffee), and hits the edge of the couch, with her glasses resting on the couch. Catherine continues the pursuit, and gets on top of Katherine, only to stab herself (This part is sort of hard to figure out, because Vincent was off to the side, in pain on the floor, shown after Catherine stabs herself, and Katherine was in the position to do it, but she was trying to get Catherine off her.) With Katherine in shock, Vincent tells her to calm down, and they both make their way to the door, only to find they are both in the nightmare (I assume this is why Catherine killed herself, because it seems that she can not disappear/change forms within visual of another human. The killing of herself may have been the only way for the nightmare to begin.)
And that concludes th- I DO THIS EVERY TIME!!! But yeah, that is Day 8 analysed for you I guess...and yes, it's a pain due to there being two woman with the same damn name, but with different letters at the start -_-

The video I used to make this analysis possible is attached, so yeah...might have also used the Catherine Wiki, but it helped!
