Reading the YouTube comments on the video below reminded me of something - for whatever reason, females tend to just get so much slack in the public eye for every single thing they do.
Taylor Swift apparently writes songs only about breakups (as if that's a bad thing), and if a guy did that, not a peep would be heard. Meghan Trainor writes a song about guys over-pursuing when flirting, and the comments are only about her appearance and her behavior in the video, which wasn't bad to begin with. Carly Rae Jepsen writes a song that is for once, cute, innocent, and completely different from most of what receives airplay, but she got endless hate about writing a stupid song and not being able to sing, and stupid claims about being crazy and overly attached. Alessia Cara writes much-needed song about someone who's anti-social and doesn't like partying, contrary to what the rest of the airwaves is focused on - and it gets meaningless hate from people who let the meaning go right over their heads.
It just seems like female music artists and public figures in general are much more quickly criticized for trivial things, for whatever reason. This is the same kind of mentality that allows Chris Brown to still have a career while Kesha's career will probably suffer in light of recent allegations, when it really shouldn't be this way.

Most of my favorite movies/series have scores as music for whatever reason. If you don't know what's going on in the story, it's too much work to explain it, so just enjoy everything else. xD This is my favorite scene from the LOTR series, and the music and scenery speak for themselves.
