tfw when you get absolutely roasted
..... haha
So
Pabulous always gets really irritated whenever I tell him the reasons why I can't get on TeamSpeak with him, and I think he's gotten a little fed up
Mineplex developers be like
"I've got a great idea for this weekends brawl:
Let's take one game that involves a ton of cleaning up, combine it with another game that involves a ton of cleaning up, and make a game that revolves entirely around cleaning up and is not about PVP skills at all!
Why don't we call it UHC SG!"
My mom just bought pumpkin spice cheerios... First off, why is that even a thing?? Second, why are these the suggestions when you start typing "pumpkin spice" on google:
Pig soccer > Slime soccer
So much nostalgia in this picture though, it's crazy to think this was over two and a half years ago
this picture never gets old
People last year: "Halloween Horror AGAIN? This is the third year in a row! Come on Mineplex, make something new!"
People this year: "Noooooo, Halloween Horror was my favorite game, why was it removed?! RIP Halloween Horror :[ "
Thank you to
Pabulous for making a great monkey Halloween skin for me
I came across two spleef hackers today… why the heck does this even exist??
I don't even know anymore
Here's a list of changes / fixes I would love to see made that I haven't seen too many people mention:
.
- Remove Bawk Bawk Battles from Mixed Arcade - I have no clue why in the world a 24 player game that usually takes close to 10 minutes was added to Mixed arcade, but in any case it should be removed. One of the main things that defines MIN servers is that all the games are supposed to be quick - and BBB games simply aren't at all. On top of that, BBB is extremely buggy, which leads me to:
- Fix the bugs in BBB - After playing over 150 games of BBB to get all the ridiculously grindy achievements, I know of at least 20-30 bugs in the game. They aren't minor bugs either: anyone on the scoreboard gets a win when the game ends, losses don't count, a lot of the games don't work properly, and so much more.
- Fix the Dragon Escape win glitch: If a player completes the course, the win in /stats is randomly (or at least somewhat randomly) assigned to one of the people still alive. This glitch has been around for over a year and it's really silly that in significant amount of games of DE, the wrong person is given a win.
- Fix the One in the Quiver Streak glitch: If you win a game of OITQ with your highest streak going at that time, you will not get gems / shards / XP for that streak. This glitch has also existed for around a year. It may sound insignificant, but for skilled players, over time they will lose tens of thousands of XP and thousands of shards / gems to do this.
- Add Wither Assault to /stats - This game has been out for an extremely long time now, is surprisingly popular, and even has its own portal, so I'm still puzzled why it doesn't have stats yet. I wouldn't think it's overly difficult to throw an icon in the Arcade stats section and then toss in a good 3-4 achievements with one for wins and a few one-time things.
Thoughts on the maps & Halloween updates coming tomorrow? What do ya think they'll do this year for Halloween?
In the notes of the last Pocket Edition update, they stated that they may be a "clue" about an upcoming update:
After tirelessly searching all around the entire PE lobby for a whopping 5 seconds, I found this
very very subtle clue, but I have no idea what it could possibly mean. Man I hate how sneaky Mineplex is with their update hints!
It's really entertaining reading through discussions about what players should have access to /report after the testing is done. They always go like this:
Level 40 ranked player> "I think people level 40+ with ranks should have access to /report"
Level 80 unranked player> "I think all people above level 80 should be able to use the command"
Level 60 ranked player> "Personally I feel everyone above level 60 with a rank should get the command"
Level 10 unranked> "Everyone should get the command!"
Level 20 ranked player> "imo everyone with ranks above level 20 should be able to use /report"
.
.
Anyway, in my opinion, only level 100+ titans should have access to it.
Pretty great news, the reports section is now public again!
Thinking of it, with Gwen and /report being able to get people muted/banned on the spot, the reports section will probably be used less and less - which is a great thing, since it's pretty inefficient. Less reports also means that more time can be spent carefully looking at each report, so there will likely be less accepted false reports as well.
Overall I'm extremely happy with /report, it's amazing to be able to get a hacker banned on the spot within seconds.
I'm really really liking these lobby updates. The theming is incredible and the amount of detail in each game lobby is crazy. Not to mention each lobby has its own unique parkour, which has been one of the most anticipated things on all of Mineplex.
Super happy with this update!
