The Capitals lost...in overtime

They played very well throughout these playoffs, and I am so proud of them. They left everything out there on the ice tonight, and they have nothing to be ashamed of. It's gut-wrenching, heartbreaking, and tough to deal with.

But the Caps had a fantastic year, and I'm proud of them. There's always next year...

You don't even know how upset I was.. They had an absolutely great year but they couldn't pull through this time. but you don't know.. next year they can win the stanley cup. we can only hope, as you said there is nothing to be ashamed of.. it was a Great year.. im just mad because I know they could have easily won.. they need to pass the puck more.. Ovechkin was good but braden.. he let one to many in.. and the wizards.. they lost.. but tommarow they have one last chance to show that they have what it takes.. it was a good year lets just have a new start for next year. Go CAPS! and go WIZARDS!

Holts was fantastic, I don't put any of the blame on him. I felt like we were just playing dump and chase for the entire third period, because we were afraid of making a mistake. I think we should've been more aggressive in the third, and then maybe it wouldn't even have gone to OT
