DvZ donater perk ideas


DozyToast Posts: 128 Cookies: +27 Level 2 LEVEL 2 Untagged users	Hello, Its nova601. For all of you who remember me, I have been donator for about a year now. I love this server to death! But there are a few things I saw that need to be fixed or maybe added about donating. First, I would like to see added is for that, for sliver and up donators, they can fly as all classes at the start of a game like a builder. It can get annoying when I have to be a builder just so I can fly when I can choose my class. And like the Builder, it would stop when the ender dragon comes out. I see this fit as it doesn't effect any thing badly, and it would be very nice. Second, I would like to point out a bug. Donators start out with a berserk axe, But as of the update witch added the pulley thingy to it, it never had the effect. Meaning that donators start out with a bad berserk axe. Not much more to say, But it would be nice to see this fixed. Third, I think that when a dwarf that has a horse gets tp'ed back to the shrine, that the horse tps back to them. It gets annoying to have to walk all the way to where your horse was to get it back. I know this was added to fix dwarfs on a horse not tping back to the shrine, but it would be better if the horse tp'ed with you. And lastly, the /nick command. It would be for gold only. If you don't know what the /nick command dose, it can give you a nick name. For example: I use /nick Nova. In the chat, my name would ne (Gold)`Nova. The reason for the "`" is to make it so people know they are using a nick name so people cant pretend to be other people. Remember, these are my opinion. Don't hate me if you don't like them. For the first one, I would say that I think only gold+ should get /fly, as I think that the price for gold is pretty high, and the price for silver is one of the servers best offers. But I still think they should loose /fly when the battle starts, because a dwarf flying around is pretty OP, and some people could even mistake you for a hacker. The berserk axe bug is true, has been recognized by many lots of times, and has not been fixed yet. It would be good if it were fixed asap. For the third one, this was said in another thread that I replied to. It is very annoying when you get tp'ed to the shrine and your horse gets left behind. I gave 2 suggestions to this: a) Make sure the horses get tp'ed with the player, or b) Donaters shouldn't get tp'ed at all if 'a' isn't possible. These would fix this annoying issue. For the last one, I think it should be for gold only, as I said before, the price for gold is pretty high, and I think it needs some more perks added. - DTM - Dan497 Posted Mar 22, 14

About the axe, yes it is a bug, and I can only agree with DTM, Let's hope it gets fixed soon! As for the Horse, yes it is VERY annoying to get TP'ed back to the shrine, and the horse left behind, I would say let the horse get TP'ed with you, makes it more fair everyone rather than not getting TP'ed at all, it could fetch up some complaints from other players if a player on a horse is immune to shrine TP. I've seen where in the code builder gains the ability to fly, and iirc, it'd be super easy to just say "builder or some permission" instead. DozyToast wrote: Second, I would like to point out a bug. I wasn't my good ol' DvZ minidev self back when all that happened (I believe I was rather preoccupied with harassing HighTech about MobArena or something), so I can't really say what could be going on, but knowing Bowser, he probably did some brilliant code work and then put "pl" instead of "player" somewhere or something like that. The thing is, it's not really possible to just add this right away, since right now each horse is just a mob and has nothing to do with the player that spawned it at all. I'm currently working on soulbound horses, which should make this possible. Might not be in the next update, but if I can get the basics working, it could be in some update after that. If so, no can do, unless we add it right into the DvZ code, which probably isn't really worth it in the face of having so much else to code. If it is ever added, it'd probably be more like "mods have permission to use /nick to name you if you ask them" - having enough money to donate doesn't necessarily make people a good judge of what's an appropriate nick.
