Really Strange Hack


[M] HeroBot Posts: 366 Cookies: +266 Level 5 LEVEL 5	-Player I'm reporting: mannerdig(forgot rest of name)(Also an alt account of PvPLogger) -On which server: Factions -Rule which they broke: Having an alt account -Screenshots or Video: I have none to provide, because the PvPLogger name tag disappeared as the player died before I could screenshot the event. Further Explanation: Ok. This might sound kind of crazy, but here goes. I was on savvana at factions PvP'ing with a few people. Right after I killed a player, mannerdig(forgot rest), something strange happened . Right when his player fell over and died, its name tag changed to PvPLogger . If I can remember, there was something with the player PvPLogger hacking and having many alt accounts recently. If this is the same player, then mannerdig(sorry, I forgot the rest of his name) should be banned for using alt accounts (as PvPLogger). Thought I have no picture proof, I am aware the event happened and I can promise you it actually happened. I tried to take a snapshot, but the player's name tag disappeared in a matter of seconds. But if I'm not mistaken, isn't PvPLogger like a server-side plugin that if a player dies and leaves, an NPC with the name PvPLogger replaces where he stood to inform the other players that he logged out of combat? If you kill the PvPLogger entity (it might even be configurable to look like a player; I don't really know. Last time I checked it was a villager, though), it kills the player even if they're logged out. This entity vanishes after a few seconds. Not an alt account, just an attempted combat logger!
