Previous experimentation has shown that any player who was on my island remains able to modify terrain and open chests. I've seen fifi45322 do it, without her realizing she was able to. She said she left the island.

The problem is trying to remove them. I've attempted to kick them from my island:

But I get the (slightly sarcastic) error "No one else is on your island, are you seeing things?"...

A ban might work, but I don't think that would make sense here.

The only other thing I can think of is putting a manual protection over my island. Which seems weird.

The only thing of value that was lost this time was some obsidian and a double chest of iron ingots, both of which I can get more of. But my fear is that this will happen again, and that I cannot prevent.
Any advice?

EDIT1: Ok, more things that I have seen taken: An enchantment table. Yay.
EDIT2: As a side note, I do not want/need the stolen stuff replaced. Most of it should be easy to get, so long as I wait. There are a few things that will be harder to replace, but I can do it.
