Things to do on skyblock

Hello, Today i will give you a list of 10 things to build on your island in skyblock.

1. Statue of a Staff member or player you like.
2. Make a little Version of the nether on your island.
3. Make a Pirate Ship or an Air Ship.
4. Make a Farm such as: Melon,Pumpkin,Gold,Cactus,wither,enderman,creeper or even animal farms.
5. Get your island level up, You can do this by placing blocks.
6. Make a Iron Farm, Most Skylords have this and its very essential to your future on skyblock.
7. Do challenges, You can do challenges by typing the command /c
8. Go fight withers and make beacons for super cool effects!
9. Compliment a Staff member (to increase your chances of being staff)
10. To finish this post up, You wanna do a little pvp in the nether with a friend :)

It sometimes does not work on some staff. Being nice to them doesn't really mean you have a higher chance of being staff. You need to really deserve it, prove that you deserver and such.

Lots of people are doing this. The people who first did these biospheres won't be overly happy that everyone is copying them, but not just the nether - other biospheres as well - look very nice as decoration :)

Yes. These farms really do help. Just generally try to make all the farms you can - I don't think I missed out any farms when building mine, other than the really, really obscure ones.

Obviously, if you want a higher island level, this is the thing to do. Blocks like cobble and netherrack don't do much. Stone bricks, wood planks/logs and netherbricks are good items to use when mass-building. Diamond blocks and gold blocks are the best, but only the best players will use these to level up.

Yes. Iron farms are very important. Iron is the basic stuff to getting rich. I just made a better iron farm over the last week, and works really well. I would recommend looking up tutorials on iron farms and villager mechanics on youtube or minecraft wiki to help.

Challenges are good for rewards, currency and xp. Re-doing the challenges you can re-do lots of times is good. I re-do cactusfarmer and sugarfarmer a lot. Obviously, challenges like the overkills are just short term challenges with good rewards that you do once.

Beacons are very useful for the effects they give. You have to put them in a sensible place, like the middle-bottom of your island, so the effects work on the whole of your island, as the effects travel up to 50 blocks horizontally, 50 blocks downwards, and infinitely upwards from a beacon, I believe.

craftmanphilip is right here: most of the time this won't work. Yes, being nice to staff is the first step, but the forums, teamspeak, and generally being active are important.

Just for fun I suppose :) If you are interested in pvp, the nether is the place to do it.

I'd love to make most of these things... If I knew how to play Skyblock haha :d
I never get any further from making a Cobblestone generator :d

The most important thing is skyblock is to have a friend on your island. Its not really fun without one

Yeah, never played Skyblock with anyone tho, but i could imagine it being far more fun with a friend, rather than alone :)

I have had other people on my island, they messed it all up and god dang it was annoying. Now its just me and my sister, but she rarely comes on. Trust me, most of the best skyblockers will not have more than 1 person on their island.
