I've worked on this for a while and I'd thought that I would share my tips, tricks, and overviews of the mobs! So without further ado, lets go!
Welcome to a guide to Dwarves vs Zombies!
This is a guide I've written to playing as the Mobs in Dwarves vs Zombies! The Mobs are the 2nd team in DvZ. They are the attacking team. They are much weaker than Dwarves, however they are faster, and come in huge numbers! When you die as a Dwarf, you become a monster. To become a monster, simply left click the egg contraption, then left click the spawn egg of what class you want to become! Mobs only can appear when the Dragon has began to unleash his/her wrath on to the Dwarves.
For Mobs to win, you must:
-Either Break 8 Shrine tables
-Or kill all of the Dwarves
So, lets begin with a few tips and pointers:
-Nametags will show even when you're a mob. So don't forget your shift key!
-Remember, Spiders ARE YOUR FRIEND. Use their webs to your advantage to evolve!
-If an Enderman is in peril, give them ALL THE SUPPORT POSSIBLE. IT COULD MEAN THE GAME.
-Do not explode as a creeper on the castle corners floor from where you enter. This will stack and make a huge crater that is a pain to navigate.
-If your a flying mob and traveling to the castle, fly high! You can easily dodge arrows from up there.
-It is always best to work in a group. Gang up on dwarves!
-The best mobs to break tables are Spider, Silverfish, and tiny slimes
-Give mobs that need to evolve a chance. For example, if your a zombie nailing a dwarf in webs, and theres a slime next to you, let the slime get them! Slimes anjd Magma Cubes can grow to huge sizes!
-If you are facing too much resistance, simply go off the path and around the dwarves!
-You can also go through from different parts of the castle, so feel free to enter from ANY side!
-You can simply go under the path as an alternate route!
-If there's some newbie Dwarves that are spawn camping, Spiders are good for putting them in webs, and letting other mobs get off and go around the path or under it to the castle. Also, sneak around them and break tables. That will throw a serious problem into their plans!
Now, lets go over the classes!
Traitor
Role: Brute force
Hits before death: NA
Threat level: High
Rarity: Very rare
How it's used: This class can only be obtained as a 1/80 chance when choosing Zombie. You will be equipped with enchanted diamond armor, an enchanted diamond sword, 4 TnT, a flint and steel, a poison rod, a nexus, and a portal to warp back to the shrine. It is best to take out Dwarves that are not as equipped as you are. Also, make it out of the shrine room ASAP, and perhaps wait a while or sneak under the path and assist the mobs. If you want to remain undetected in the hunt for a target, its best not to run towards someone with your sword out. Walk instead with something different in your hand. Abandon what I said if you know you have been found to be a traitor. It is not recommended to use the TnT or flint and steel unless you are not being attacked and are helping mobs get through a wall, or you are on the roof dropping TnT below to damage Dwarves. Poison rod is to ignore armor, but is best left for Spiders. The nexus is useless, literally. Don't know why Traitors even have it. Portal is pretty self explanatory. If in a pinch, warp! Also, Traitors can ride Spiders, and get healed by bats. They however, cannot get teleported to Ender Portals.
Zombie
Role: Standard Attack
Hits before death: 2-5
Threat level: High. This may be the default, but it is a great class overall!
Rarity: Common
How it's used: Guppy's snack/block breaker is used to break stone brick much faster than normal. It is used by spamming the left click on stone, all stone bricks, nether brick, lapis blocks, and brick.Use it to penetrate walls and blockades in your way! Also use it to clear ways for other mobs. However, that part is best left to a Silverfish if one is nearby. The sword of course, is for attacking the Dwarves.. Block with it to temporarily gain Resistance I! The potions are rarely used, but come in use when you get away from someone or you are about to get back in battle from a previous skirmish. You also have a chance to spawn with a wood pick! Use this carefully and break the shrine tables!

Skeleton
Role: Ranged offense and defense.
Hits before death: 1-2
Threat level: Low
Rarity: Common
How it's used: If dwarfs try to spawn camp, use this as your defense in tandem with zombies to finish off anyone at low health or distract those who get too close. When you advance, keep with other skeletons for safety until you breach the castle. Once you breach the castle, get to a high place or onto the roof and snipe through a hole. Once you've hit enough dwarvess, you turn into a Wither Skeleton! You can also left click whilst holding your bow to leap backwards! Use this to your advantage in battle! Skeletons also get vines. You can use these to get out of holes, scale barricades, and climb the castle walls with no worries! You may also spawn with a Skeleton horse. However, due to a bug it is very rare.
__________________________________________
Wither Skeleton
Role: Ranged offense and defense.
Hits before death: 1-3
Threat level: Medium
Rarity: N/A
How it's used: Same as normal skeleton, but you are bit more dangerous and potent. You shoot wither skulls instead of normal arrows. Notice that the skulls go straight, versus a curved trajectory. These skulls on impact will do damage, along with a high level wither effect! You are a great supporting offense for your team. Do not die unless your team needs a different role! It would also help to know that left clicking not only makes you have a mighty backwards leap like the normal Skeleton, but you can repair your bow as a Wither Skeleton! That, and you dont need to fully pull back on your bow to do damage! You can spam your bow but each skull will do the same damage as if it was fully pulled back. The only thing affected by pulling back is the speed of the skull. It is recommended to evolve as early as possible in the game, so choosing Skeleton early and evolving may get you some kills. I once got 5 kills by my self as Wither Skelly even with melee!

Creeper
Role: Explosive offense and wall breaker
Hits before death: 1-2
Threat level: High in numbers, medium-low in smaller games. If used right, Charged creepers are quite dangerous.
Rarity: Somewhat uncommon
How it's used: Your job is to weaken the dwarfs health and armor. Wait, armor?? Yes! Creeper explosions do around 30 durability to their armor if they're in your explosion radius. You can even 1 shot a dwarf with only 1-2 pieces of armor on! The creeper is also used for breaking holes into walls and blockades, similar to Silverfish and Zombie. The only difference is that you die when you explode, and unlike the other 2 classes, you can break blocks regardless of materiel, similar to Blaze. Creepers can also become charged and do massive damage to armor and a Dwarf's health! Charged creepers can sometimes 1 shot a Dwarf at full health in armor, but most of the time will do massive damage regardless.

Spider
Role: Multirole fighter
Hits before death: 1-2
Threat level: Medium. High when used right, low when not.
Rarity: Common
How it's used: Wrap those dwarfs in some of your grade-A cobwebs! You can put them in those web if your being chased, helping another mob who's being chased, stopping dwarfs so others can finish them, or just plain trolling. To use your web wand, simply whack someone with it to put them in a sticky situation! You can also jump to extreme heights, like the castle roof. You start with speed II and jump boost II by default, so its great for running past dwarfs. You can also poison them for a short time with the venomous rod! Spiders can sneak in the wheat field inside the castle and break tables for sneak up on Dwarves very easily due to the wheat hiding your small size. Mobs can also ride on you! Any mob can do this, including other Spiders and Traitors. Use this to get extra damage dealt in battle, taxi slow allies to the destination faster than they can move themselves, or intimidate Dwarves with the legendary Spider tower of doom!

Bat
Role: Support and harassment
Hits before death: 1-2
Threat level: Medium
Rarity: Common
How it's used: Right click the slimeball to change the effect you give when you launch an egg. One of the modes, the first, is to regen mobs health. The rest is to debuff dwarves. Give rare classes and skeletons regen, and debuff dwarves that are attacking the mobs, and vice versa. You can fly too. But you will be downed if hit by an arrow. The icon that changes in your inventory when you right click the slimeball tells you what mode you are in, along with it saying in the chat. Regen only works on mobs and does not debuff dwarves automatically. You'll have to switch modes to debuff them.
__________________________________________
Chicken
Role: Support and harassment
Hits before death: 1-2
Threat level: Low
Rarity: Common
How it's used: You may also fly and get shot down, but you can only regen mana if you're on the ground. There's 3 modes that chickens eggs have. But push mode is broken so don't bother. Explosion mode is to troll dwarves that are repairing walls and such. And freeze mode is to be used on water to turn it into ice. This is extremely helpful when you are in a swamp or ocean biome. And simply right click the Slimeball to change modes, just like the bat! Now with the old terrain gen gone, Ice is now useful to cross lakes and oceans!

Silverfish
Role: Tear down dwarven structures
Hits before death: 1-2
Threat level: High once you have this class down, but very low if you don't use it right.
Rarity: Rare
How it's used: Your role is to destroy the castle walls, roof, and blockades made by dwarves! Lay your eggs in stone brick, brick, and nether brick. Then awaken the eggs by using Roar! The blocks will break, and Silverfish will spawn. These silverfish will do 10 armor durability per hit they deal on a dwarf. If left ignored, you can almost completely destroy a castle! Your melee to dwarfs however, is only half a heart, if that. So avoid contact with them at all costs. If your in a pinch, you can use your Silverfish to distract your pursuers! It helps to sneak a lot. Also, its best to keep planting eggs in the bricks until a large section of a wall, floor, or even the entire castle is infected with silverfish blocks. Then, awaken them all at once!
__________________________________________
Zombie Pigman
Role: Standard offense like the zombie, but weaker.
Hits before death: 1-2
Threat level: Lowest of all mobs.
Rarity: Uncommon
How it's used: It's not that smart to use this class unless suicide is desired, most unfortunately. Basically like the zombie, but you don't get health potions or block breakers. Just a gold sword and an ability to summon a few fellow Pigmen. But, you do get the ability to turn into a Blaze once you've hit enough dwarfs. However as of the recent nerfs, this is next to impossible. Use fleeing dwarfs and cobwebs to your advantage, if possible.
__________________________________________
Blaze
Role: Heavy melee offense
Hits before death: 2-14
Threat level: Extreme
Rarity: You might see 1 per every 6 rounds. So yeah, rare
How it's used: KILL EVERYTHING! This class has phenomenal armor and an insane weapon. However, to be used most effective stay in a group with other mobs, and run away to regen if there isn't a bat. Acting in tandem with a Spider or Traitor will ensure near instant death for the poor Dwarf you are attacking.
__________________________________________
Witch
Role: Semi-ranged attack and support
Hits before death: 1-3
Threat level: Medium
Rarity: Uncommon
How it's used: This class is hilarious both to watch and use. Witch is primarily a stay back and chill class, using somewhat ranged attacks, and supports fellow mobs in melee by healing them, providing extra damage to the dwarf they're attacking, and also can buff them by giving them speed 4.
__________________________________________
Slime
Role: Attack, harassment
Hits before death: Depends on size
Threat level: Extremely Low
Rarity: Rare
How it's used: This class has rather weak armor, but it gets better as you get bigger. Yes, you can grow! In fact, you can grow up to size 10 aka SLIMEZILLA Sizes 7-10 are considered Slimezilla, where as sizes 5-6 are considered Slimezilla Jr.'s. Slime is best played when there is a smart bat following, and you WILL be falling back to regen often. You can also plant eggs into them. Simply do this by hitting a Dwarf with your slimeball. Each egg you plant uses up 10 mana and you can only plant 10 eggs max in a Dwarf. To get rid of the current eggs into the Dwarf by right clicking the Slimeball to awaken the eggs. NPC Slimes will appear and harrass the Dwarf for a moment, then die. Keep planting eggs in Dwarves and you will get bigger and bigger. Just remember to be careful and pull back when at half health. It helps to use webs from spiders and bats to heal you. Unfortunately, Slimes got yet another unneeded nerf and are little help to the team except for size 1's breaking tables.
__________________________________________
Magma Cube
Role: Attack, harassment
Hits before death: Depends on size
Threat level: Slightly higher than Slime
Rarity: Rare
How it's used: The Magma Cube is extremely similar to the Slime. However, it sets its foes on fire in melee, does extra damage, doesnt require as much mana, and spawns Magma Cube NPC's instead of Slimes.
__________________________________________
Giant
Role: Swarmer
Hits before death: 5-9
Threat level: Low when on the path, but if in a good spot with a good player, medium-high.
Rarity: Rare
How it's used: The Giant is slow, and has a huge hitbox. Not exactly excellent. That said, this class is mostly a sit back kind of class. Avoid melee whenever possible. The punch you pack lies in the NPC Zombies you can spawn. So, this is used best when mobs have penetrated the castle, and you camp on the roof or side walls of the castle and drop Zombies down. This can also be used on the path albeit much less effectively. Climb trees with help from Skeletons, or sit in your spawn and create an army of Zombies! It is advised to use a portal if one is up. Enderman keeps the portal up, and you and a Golem can protect it. With more recent updates, Giant is now much more common. Thought still maintaining the rare status.
__________________________________________
Wolf
Role: In and Out attacking
Hits before death: 1-2
Threat level: Low
Rarity: Rare
How it's used: This is a sort of Glass Cannon class. You are very weak... until you use your bones ability for 20 mana! Then, you get extremely fast, with immense strength! But you only get it for a short time, so know when to pull out and let other mobs handle the dwarves while you hide until your mana recharges. For the moment, you hit softer than a Zombie, but this and Giant may be getting a buff soon.
__________________________________________
Iron Golem
Role: Knockback support
Hits before death: So many I can't keep track of how many!
Threat level: Low, but High on the path if used right.
Rarity: Uncommon
How it's used: You are Slow, have a big hitbox, and does as much damage as a stone sword. The best advice I can offer is do not use this class until you have unlocked upgrades for this class, then it becomes really good! You can swat dwarves away huge distances, and become very hard to kill with 60 hearts and prot V full iron armor. The damage is horrifically low however. So, use this to clear the path, and even troll Dwarves by knocking them back into a group of other Mobs when they try to TP to the shrine. This class is great when Paired up with another Golem, or a Bat. Do not try to attack with intent to kill. You will do next to no damage. It is highly advised to use this to guard portals, Endermen, and Giants. Also, as of the more recent update mobs know take knockback from explosions. SO, CHARGE YOUR MANA TO FULL/80, LOOK DOWN, JUMP, THEN SPAM EXPLOSIVE IRON FOR BIG AIR TIME!
__________________________________________
Enderman
Role: Support
Hits before death: 1-2
Threat level: Extreme. Avoid direct contact with this class if possible. You may frighten them into making a portal and attacking you. Which is very bad for Dwarves.
Rarity: Rarest of all non-evolution and non-variation classes
How it's used: Behold, the rarest of all mobs. This class is extremely dangerous, despite only having a wood sword and leather chestplate. Why? Well, you can teleport, and open an Ender Portal that acts as a new mob spawn, unless you, the Enderman, are killed. The best way to play this class is as soon as you spawn get off the path and use the biomes as a terrain mask to hide your presence, and place your portal near, inside, or on top of the castle. DO NOT FIGHT OR TRY TO BREAK TABLES OR YOU WILL DIE! And if you die as I said, the portal goes down. The best places for portals are on high places close to the castle, the roof, on top of shrine, and on sky bases that are built on the roof. It's best to have a chicken, or bat, or both to scout the area for dwarves and knock them away so you can safely put down your portal. But when you fully upgrade your weapon, you can hit for a whopping 11.5 damage. Enough to 2 hit kill a Dwarf thats unarmored. So Dwarves beware.
DUE TO A 1.8 RENDERING CRASH ENDERMEN NO LONGER APPEAR UNTIL THIS ISSUE IS FIXED.

Don't know what to pick for a class? Well, heres a list that can help you with your playstyle.

Growing Slimes and Magma Cubes
This is extremely difficult and RNG needs to be on your side, but here is the best way.
Start by having 1 Slime or Magma Cube player who is smart. Then have a Bat, Spider, and preferably an Enderman. Begin this with the Slime attacking Dwarves that the Spider has webbed up. Then have the bat debuff the Dwarves and keep the Slime/Magma Cube buffed at all times! And if there is a good Enderman, have them place a portal so the Slime and Spider may retreat to it if they get low on health so they can recover their HP. Simply repeat the cycle. However Witches can be on standby to increase support given.
Trivia:
-Mobs may not be the bad guys after all. They may just be defending their homes, and the undead wish to rest in peace once more.
-Traitors are technically classified as monsters in the plugin's code
-Endermen can appear in pairs. This is extremely rare.
-Staff can choose any mob class. Which is at least for me is a drive off for applying for staff.
-Admins can trigger mob waves with a command. Don't pester them though. They hate it when you do that.
-Mob waves can be triggered by normal means too. Any person who chooses a mob egg has a chance to create a wave of that mob. However Endermen, Traitors, Blazes, Wither Skeletons, and Giants are exceptions.
-Waves also seem to trigger very often at the start of the game, with the first handful of mobs.
-Silverfish waves are the rarest waves
-Another server purchased a very old copy of this plugin, but now no longer uses it
-Sometimes Web wands cannot work and sometimes, Slimes, Wolves, and Magma cubes can't attack due to a bug
-The Giant's hitbox is only the waist and below
-Skeleton horses that Skeletons can spawn with disappear upon spawning due to a glitch that has occurred for a long time
-Witches are both the most flexible class, and least flexible class in the game depending on what spells they have
PERKS:
Perks are a way to spend points which you can get by playing games. These perks are for both Dwarf and Mob, so choose wisely! Some classes and abilities can only be obtained through the perks, such as Giant, and others. Maxing out the Iron Golem will make you quite difficult to kill because of your insane health and great armor. Enderman also gets some treats, such as extreme damage dealt with a 11.5 damage sword, and a prot III iron chestplate. These are just some of the many examples of the perks you'll find, so go out and explore! And before this ends... One of the perks you get a cool name prefix as a mob!
Hope you learned from this guide, so get out there and have the most fun you've had in Minecraft in a long time, be it Dwarf or Mob!
