I've been thinking it might be nice to add a couple high-volume farming challenges for those of us who spend tons of time just trying to empty our farms. Getting kicked for spam a dozen times a day isn't a lot of fun either. I don't suggest epic rewards, just a faster way to do bulk turn-ins. Even a smaller physical reward would be good as long as the exp and currency rewards stay comparable.
I don't mean to criticize the existing challenges, they're great at low levels, they just become a grueling spam-fest for more advanced players.
I also suggest they go in the overkill category so they don't become a stumbling block for someone trying to blast through the challenges - they would be a huge hurdle for someone who doesn't have big farms. Putting it in the overkill section makes it available to advanced farmers but also not required for challenge level progress.
cactus
/c cactusfarmer currently takes 1 stack of cactus and gives 10 sand, 10 exp, 5 currency for each repeated turn-in
A full inventory is 36 stacks, but 35 is a better number if it's going to be spammed because the rewards will end up taking up a space as well.
35 cactusfarmer turn-ins will give 350 sand, 350 exp, 175 currency. I suggest replacing the sand with something stackable and less annoying than the mountain of sand that cactusfarmer is currently giving. 1 diamond is a decent price for 350 sand I think. 1 emerald would do if people think it should be less of a reward. Personally, I do it for the levels and the currency and hate all the sand i end up with. I think it's a very useful challenge until you encase your island in glass, after that it's annoying.
/c bulkcactus could take 35 stacks of cactus and give 1 diamond, 350 exp, 175 currency.
melon
/c melonfarmer currently takes 2 stacks of melon and gives 2 dirt, 10 exp, 5 currency for each repeated turn-in
35 stacks is equal to 7.5 turn-ins which equals 36 dirt, 175 exp, 87.5 currency.
Note that dirt sells in the nether shop for 50 currency each but 175 exp and 1887.5 (36 x 50 + 87.5) currency for a bulkmelon seems excessive since that's more than the value of 6 diamond ore
/c bulkmelon could take 35 stacks of melon and give 1 diamond, 175 exp, 85 currency
sugar
/c sugarfarmer currently takes 1 stack of sugar and gives 2 clay blocks, 10 exp, 5 currency for each repeated turn-in
35 sugarfarmer turn-ins will give 70 clay blocks, 350 exp, 175 currency.
Note that clay blocks sell for $25 at the nether shop but again $1925 (70 x 25 +175) seems excessive when that's more than 6 diamond ore
/c bulksugar could take 35 stacks of sugarcane (refining it into sugar is really annoying in bulk) and give 1 diamond, 350 exp, 175 currency.
seeds
there is a thread about this already but thought it should be mentioned here to show the possible consistency
/c bulkseeds could take 35 stacks of seeds and give some reward (I defer to the other thread to determine the appropriate reward)
