Evidence: I apologize for the low-quality appearance of that video. But note that he's tossing items, and also there was a pool of items inside the wall (that didn't really render well in the video, but it was there). Helper on the Mojang bug tracker (and member of the #jira-helpers Mojang slack channel), maintainer of the World Downloader mod, and one of the people working on the Minecraft Protocol Documentation (among other things).
