Looking for a guide on Mobs? Look here: http://www.dwarfscraft.com/forum/m/8790102/viewthread/16066762-guide-to-dwarves-vs-zombies-mobs
I've worked on this for a while and I'd thought that I would share my tips, tricks, and overviews of the Dwarves! So without further ado, lets go!
Welcome to a guide to Dwarves vs Zombies!
This is a guide I've written to playing as the Dwarves in Dwarves vs Zombies! Dwarves are the 1st team in DvZ. They are the "defending" team. Dwarves come in fewer numbers, but are much stronger individually than mobs. The game always begins with Dwarves at the start. Sometimes you will be presented to be able to pick your Dwarf class. Simply click the magma cream and click on the disc that has your favorite class in it.
To achieve victory, you must:
-Kill all mobs as indicated by the sidebar
These are important:
-Do not go near the Mob's spawn
-Don't sit and lollygag in your "house" on the roof. This helps no one and Chickens will just troll you.
-Use the Magic Book! It's your friend!
-The Magic book does many things, one of them is to teleport you back to the shrine if you get lost or stuck.
-Do not block spam as a Builder or any other class.
-Builders should repair walls, roofs, and such if there are spaces.
-Builders also need to make walls/barricades on the path to slow the approach of the mobs.
-To use Items, simply left click them! But remember, each item uses mana!
-Your armor still takes durability! Repair your armor by clicking an anvil when the Mobs are released! However, this takes lots of mana. Creepers will also damage your armor heavily. Watch out!
Now, let's go over the classes!
Builder
Builders are pretty self explanatory. They're what builds the castle walls, maintains barriers on the path, and construct the roof. They also supply lights, with torches, and even Glowstone if they have the perk! Builders as an incentive get an Ender Pearl for each stack of Stone Bricks they place. These are the most common class.
Baker
These guys also do what their name states. Using the Wheat from the farm, they can collect not only Wheat, but also Sugar, and Apples. Simply collect it by punching it. After punching fully grown wheat a few times wit will revert to a juvenile state. Simply find more fully grown Wheat and have at it! They can create Milk (not from a Cow. That's for later), Golden apples (Requires alchemists), bread, cake, and Pumpkin Pies.
Tailor
Okay, you're seeing the pattern with the names here. I shouldn't need to explain. Tailors create armor. Unenchanted armor, at that. They must kill Cows in the farm. They are the only Dwarf class that can kill them. Mobs can kill the Cows too, however Cows will instantly respawn. Killing Cows will give you leather, which you can use to create Armor Gems. Simply click on one of these to equip yourself with standard Diamond Armor. There is a rare chance for a Legendary Armor gem to appeared. You will be equipped with armor enchanted with the same enchants that the gem is displayed with.
Blacksmith
Blacksmith creates weapon gems. Start by mining Gold and Coal ore in one of the mines. Note how these do not drop as items, but go straight to your inventory. Then, smelt the Gold in the Furnaces to create Weapon gems! They can also create Legendary gems like the Tailor, but for Weapons instead of armor.
Alchemist
Alchemists create potions! Now, pay attention to this one. This is a bit different that you think. First, gather Redstone dust at the mine. You also get Water bottles from mining these. Alright, now use the Redstone on the Water Bottles in the Brewing Stands. By now you should have Mundane Potions. Now, use your magic book to convert these into things such as Mana Potions, Regen Potions, Strength, Speed, and Fire Resistance potions. You also have a chance at getting a Philosophers stone. Give these to Bakers to make Golden apples.
Dragonborn
The person who has done the most damage to the Ender LAGon will become the Dragonborn. Totally not a Skyrim reference The Dragonborn comes with temporary buffs, and a 300 mana cap!
The threat you're up against from least to greatest:
Alpha
Wolf
Pigmen
Beta
Chicken
Bat
Skeleton
Gamma
Zombie
Spider
Iron Golem
Wither Skeleton
Slime
Giant
Sigma
Silverfish
Creeper
Witch
Magma Cube
Omega
Enderman
Blaze
Traitor
Slimezilla/Magmazilla
A note with Spiders:
Spiders can be ridden by others mobs. Although at the moment if they do their butt will be in the Spiders face. So if you see something like a Jockey, or a Golem riding a Spider for mobility, that will explain it. Also, like the aforementioned Golem/spider combo, some of the combos can be dangerous. Creeper's can act as a self destruct system for the Spider. Golems can launch you, etc.
Stages of a round
Stage 0
This is the preperation stage. Construction of the fort, creation of armor, weapons, potions, and food only occur in this stage. There is no way to die, there is no mobs, and you are assigned your class as soon as this begins.
Stage 1
An Ender Dragon appears that you must kill. Whoever kills the Dragon becomes the Dragonborn. The first Dwarves die here, thus beginning the siege. Endermen appear in all stages including the first. Watch out. Some Spiders may sneak in and break a table. Sometimes a Silverfish, but is uncommon this early.
Stage 2
The first Barricade(s) are finished., and the Dragon is dead. There is when Mobs really begin to start coming. Wither Skeletons will start to appear. A wave of mobs is likely to start around this time.
Stage 3
All barricades are finished and Mobs come in at full force. Blazes, Wither Skeletons, Endermen, and Golems are as common as ever. Some mobs will infiltrate the castle. And begin breaking tables.
Stage 4
Some barricades are demolished, and Mobs quickly advance to the shrine. Witches are very dangerous at this time.
Stage 5
Most barricades are demolished, and the Elder Guardian is being taken over. The Castle will begin to take barrages! Mobs will open holes in the walls and start rushing in!
Stage 6
Mobs have conquered the Shrine, and are breaking the last tables and killing the last Dwarves.
Perks:
Perks are a way to spend points which you can get by playing games. These perks are for both Dwarf and Mob, so choose wisely!
Hope you learned from this guide, so get out there and have the most fun you've had in Minecraft in a long time, be it Dwarf or Mob!
