It is like teamspeak in the way you can use voice or text chat, but Discord looks cooler.

This is my main problem. I'm just not sure why we're using this program instead of TS. After recently getting TS for clan stuff in World of Tanks, I thought I'd finally be able to coordinate better and make use of more complicated tactics with teamwork. The one main reason I liked TS so much is that I don't need to create a whole new account for something.

I totally understand! Lots of the staff thought this at first but after using it we got used to it

also, for why we use it we do because it is free and people dont need to download it

There is actually Discord Apps for desktop and mobile. they to are free so in a way it's a free alternative to teamspeak. I have Discord on my phone and it works just like the website domain.
