Flaws of Other DvZ servers

TBH, all the other DvZ servers have nasty flaws, not just limited to community.

Rob's/Oldmanwillakers' DvZ for example is extremely one-sided gameplay. The fact there's a small map rotation is one noticeable issue. In tandem with a lot of maps being Dwarf oriented, this makes it a problem. Problem gets bigger when you realize that Dwarves can instant slab a huge area and often 1-shot mobs with no issue. Then you have the Dwarf heroes... *cringe* There are even updates to prevent mobs from using tactics... Tactics! Simply infuriating. Then you have dwarf gameplay. It gets repetitive quickly. There are custom weapons for dwarves, and if you want to be able to get a complete custom class/set to use as your own you have to play a TON. What make things worse, is there is no tutorial, or anywhere online to research for specific information and mechanics. Just some goofy in-game commentary from the dwarf heroes. Like, seriously? Doesn't help the community is just unhelpful and at times rude, as Kyrix has seen as well. Not to mention, when Rob plays he tends to be a complete and utter dolt to the other dwarves. Then you have the "coward points" system, if you leave a game before it is complete, you get some and if you get too many you can't become a hero, and may even be prevented from playing iirc. This gets me good, as these games last a long long times due to all the 1-shotting going on and kill farming. Sometimes I have to go to the bathroom, eat, or heck, even this past week take my mother to the ER. [EDITED] you too, Rob. Oh, and don't get me started on only having 1 server and a low capacity.

Lilcraft, though it's been dead for a while this just used a DvZ plugin on BukkitDev with little editing, and restricted everything decent to donors. Not to mention only having 1 map... Though there was still lots of area to sneak around. Community was just quiet as well.

Lihp isn't much different from Rob's. Not very good, and just seems like a kinda poor copy. Though it did have a chunk of maps, gameplay just wasn't that great at all.

UberMC used to have a really old version of our plugin back when it needed serious TLC. Not sure if they're even still up these days.



Dwarfscraft will always be the pinnacle of what DvZ is, was, and ever will be. Not without it's flaws, it's still a great server with a wonderful community to boot. #DwarfscraftForever
