Nether concerns

The nether in general is pretty wrecked, so I think we need to change the nether. Increase the size to ~500 blocks each direction. Also, netherside I have another portal that connects to a side project of mine. This portal is in a 100% freebuild zone. Unfortunately, the portal keeps getting griefed by having a obsidian removed. This is frustrating, because I need to get someone to lend me obsidian. Can you protect the area around portals too? You go in to get some resources, but what would be cool is a nether hub system for portals (like on mindcrack); and also, some idiot broke the blaze spawners at the fortress. Mabye a multi-day poll to reset the nether.
