Why can't one person offer a trade with a command like /trade [1 emerld for 1 iron] and it says [Mysticate] is trading 1 emerald for 1 iron. You can accept by /trade [Mysticate] accept and it TPs you to a safe house at spawn where PVP is off. To leave do /trade end.
Do you think this is good idea? I know it is slightly impractical because of Bukkit and all, but... yeah.

Well, we have a /trade command, but it is severely glitched.
I do like the warp part, though.

Helper on the Mojang bug tracker (and member of the #jira-helpers Mojang slack channel), maintainer of the World Downloader mod, and one of the people working on the Minecraft Protocol Documentation (among other things).

Well, try doing teamspeak, :) Anyways, I agree on the new /trade command being glitched, it's very confusing for a simpleminded mod named ihtimx. .-. Anyways, I attempted to do this with XxDanxX88, and while I was talking to him, he said that his island is vulnerable to stealing people... Who knows how to fix this? Anyone? Okay...

new scammer, Dragonitey2002, and a huge spammer that doesn't fear the staffs, use caps as well, Romanflimz, next time i'm going to be in touch when the staffs are off.

Hm, his island is griefable? Is it possible that a player is glitches with permissions? I know that kend101, who was a member of mine and then left to go to luckybot's, is capable of accessing chests.
In fact, all my members of my island are unlisted but can interact with everything.
Of course, you can kill animals on any island.

Also, you can sort of get /trade to work by having both people do /trade deny, then the first doing /trade invite [otherplayersname].
The other player does /trade accept, then you go to the confusing gui.

Of course, the command did delete 2 stacks of cobble, so in my opinion, it is safer to tp to a known scammer.

This thread isn't about spammers, only scammers. Do the normal thing for them, of posting on the forums with a screenshot.
On the other hand, how/what did Dragonitey2002 do? Say he will give free stuff? Kill you before trading?

I have had this happen. I think it is something to do with your party just randomly being reset, or something like that.
