People Restarting for profit

Why is this cheating? Anyone can do it, and it's not like it's breaking the rules...

Its getting free stuff. People then sell this free stuff

I just don't believe it should happen

It's not really cheating, cuz they're not really breaking any rules. It's not a glitch or a bug either....

I just don't feel its right to do

It's not a kick/tempban able. It is fair it just helps their island better.

I do not think its fair like Fid said. It is giving the players an unfair advantage to ranking up their islands. Correct me if im wrong but hacks etc... give unfair advantages to. I do not agree that it is perm bannable, but I think it should be temp ban worthy if caught

It's basically an exploit of the island restart system. A lot of the time, players do not do it because they feel like it is cheating.(Or so I've heard.) To those who say it is not cheating, compare it to someone getting free food at lunch and then returning to get it again and again. (They could wash off their hand stamp if you're about being realistic.) These kids who restart their island collect the resources, give them to another player and then repeat, put players who actually work to buy dirt and sand at a disadvantage because they do not cheat. Though, a player who already saved up resources and moved to another island is completely legitimate. I agree with Fiddlydoo and eez, this farming of resources via island restarts is technically exploiting or even cheating and those doing so should be punished.

I guess it is exploitable, but how are you going to fix it. You can't really catch people doing it unless they say it in chat (or if you want to watch them while vanished ). And you can't really fix it without rebuilding the server.
