1.8 issues


pokechu22 Posts: 456 Cookies: +267 Level 5 LEVEL 5 Untagged users	Well, the server's running 1.8 now (per /icanhasbukkit, CraftBukkit version git-Spigot-8a983f9-e81edfc (MC: 1. (Implementing API version 1.8-R0.1-SNAPSHOT) to be precise). While that does mean we get a few good things, it's also had a few issues. Water and lava blocks are gone, completely. 1.8 no longer has them. Similarly, /c pokechu22 gives nothing, as the slabs have lost their inventory representations. It's nothing too important though. It's probably possible to make a plugin that used numeric data values to create fake water blocks, though. Helper on the Mojang bug tracker (and member of the #jira-helpers Mojang slack channel), maintainer of the World Downloader mod, and one of the people working on the Minecraft Protocol Documentation (among other things). When I placed 4 of them I went afk for a bit and came back and all 4 were broken, server ghost? Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around for a while, you might miss it.
