Basically, something's going on that makes lag spikes. You saw them. If I had to guess, it's some strange communication thing between servers now that we have two connected physical servers.

Unfortunately, it's more than just lag spikes, as they keep increasing until it crashes the server. We, and by "we" I mean "probably Bowser", will fix this ASAP. In the meantime, here's another adorable animal gif.
